Hi, I’m Theresa!

For me, nutrition became more than a profession. It became personal.

I bring more than 32 years of nursing experience, primarily in women’s health, together with

advanced graduate-level education in clinical nutrition from Northeast College of Health

Sciences.

My interest in nutrition became personal when I began searching for a better understanding of

PCOS, hormonal balance, and the transitions that accompany menopause. Like so many women,

I wanted to understand why changes were occurring—not simply how to manage them.

That journey introduced me to a whole-person approach to wellness and changed the way I

thought about health.

That discovery became my purpose.

Today, I combine decades of healthcare experience with evidence-informed nutrition, health, and

lifestyle coaching to help individuals better understand the everyday factors that can influence

their well-being.

My approach considers the whole person—nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, behaviors,

environment, and lifestyle—because these pieces rarely exist in isolation.

Depending on a client's needs, our work may include

nutrition education, lifestyle strategies, behavior coaching, supplement education, and helping

clients better understand health information and laboratory results provided by their healthcare

professionals.

But there is no one-size-fits-all plan here.

Your health. Your life. Your roots.

Where Nourishment Begins at the Root

There’s a reason a beet became part of the Rooted Well story.

What we see above the ground is only part of the picture. A beet draws nourishment through its

roots—quietly growing beneath the surface before revealing what has been developing all along.

I believe wellness can be much the same.

What we experience on the surface doesn't always tell the whole story. Nutrition, movement,

sleep, stress, behaviors, environment, and everyday habits can all play a role in our overall well-

being.

Strong roots create the foundation for growth.

And that philosophy became the inspiration behind Rooted Well.

Why Rooted Well?

After more than three decades in nursing, I understand healthcare from the inside. I understand

women’s health across the lifespan, and I understand how frustrating it can feel to have questions

about your health and not know where to begin.

Rooted Well was created to offer something different: a place where science and real life

can meet.

A place where nutrition education becomes understandable, healthy choices become more

practical, and change begins with where you are today—not an idealized version of who you are

supposed to be.

My goal isn't perfection.

It's helping you build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to make informed nutrition

and lifestyle choices that fit your everyday life.

Where I Am Today

Image description

I am a Registered Nurse with more than 32 years of clinical experience and hold a Master’s

degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition.

I am currently continuing the credentialing process toward the Certified Nutrition Specialist

(CNS) credential and Pennsylvania nutrition licensure. During this stage of my practice, I

provide nutrition, health, and lifestyle education and coaching within my current professional

scope.

Services are available virtually and in person, from foundational wellness education and

coaching to individualized nutrition and lifestyle support.

Because wellness isn't built through perfection or quick fixes.

It grows through the choices we make, the nourishment we provide, and the roots we

strengthen along the way.
